Michael Vick Says He Will Play Sunday

Michael Vick made it clear Wednesday: He will play in the Philadelphia Eagles' Week 4 game against the San Francisco 49ers. That sore right hand? No big deal.

"Even if it was broke I think I would have probably padded it up and went back out there," Vick told the Philadelphia Inquirer at practice. "You got to take precaution but this is what I love to do."

NFL Week 3: Legit or Fakin' it?I

Week 3 is over in the NFL and things are starting to shake out in the league. There are a number of teams off to good starts. No championships are won this early, but let's look at who is legit and who's faking it so far this season.

Bills (3-0) - Who would have guessed the Buffalo Bills would be undefeated and beat the Patriots last week? They have some weapons on offense with Ryan Fitzpatrick, Fred Jackson and Stevie Johnson. People also forget they have Shawne Merrimane on defense. We'll say the Bills are legit.

Detroit (3-0) - The Lions are undefeated, too. Stafford is healthy and Calvin Johnson is a beast. Suh is probably the best d-tackle in the league. I'm not sure they are for real though, so we'll say they are faking it.

Raiders (2-1) - The Raiders defeated the Jets over the weekend. They have a new coach, and Darren McFadden looks like the best running back in the league not named AP. They are still the Raiders though, so of course they're faking it.

Packers (3-0) - Aaron Rodgers is at QB....enough said. Legit.

So what do you think? Who is legit and who is faking it that we left off?

Cheapshot or Legit KO??

If you saw the fight, you pretty much know the controversy. If you didnt, Victor Ortiz hit Floyd Mayweather with a headbutt and tried to apologize (even with a kiss). After the ref broke them up, as Ortiz and the ref looked away, Floyd hit Ortiz with a two piece to knock him out. What do you think? Was it fair since Ortiz had his hands down? Or did Floyd cheapshot Ortiz while no one was looking?

Fight Preview: Mayweather vs. Ortiz

Photo courtesy of Daniel Berry/Getty Images North America

For the first time in 16 months, Floyd Mayweather will step back into the ring and defend his undefeated record of 41-0. Nope, he won't be facing Manny Pacquiao as many of us would likethough. Mayweather will be facing Victor Ortiz this go around. Ortiz recently upset Andre Berto to win the WBC welterweight title.

Ortiz seems stronger, faster and tougher than any of the last opponents who have stepped in the ring with Mayweather. Ricky Hattton, Oscar De La Hoya and Shane Mosley were all either a step too slow or past their prime fighing Floyd.

Floyd is fast, quick and we all know he's flashy. It's hard to get him cornered or even land a punch on him. Could this Ortiz give Mayweather a run for his money? Or is this just one more boxer Floyd lays out to reach 42-0 and set up for the big fight we all want against Pac-Man? I'm gonna say it is, and I'm going Mayweather by TKO in the 10th round. Who do you have?
